We are unbelievably lucky to be working with some of the best chefs in Cumbria and the wider fire cooking community. From Michelin stars to fire chefs in bars we have been blown away by the calibre of the people that want to work with us @fiftyfourdegreesnorth to help highlight and showcase what amazing people and produce we have here in Cumbria.
These incredible chefs couldn’t be with us if it wasn’t also for the support of their families, partners, amazing staff and places where they work, so thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone that has made this crazy idea a reality.
We are also thrilled to welcome the Head Chef @kitchengardenco@chefdarrenbroom to the 54ºNORTH family. His career as a chef spans seventeen years, including stints with Michael Caines and Marco Pierre White and he’s carved out his own food style using influences from Scandinavia, British food history, the art of cooking over fire and the wild ingredients he forages for.
