Today these Gloucester Old Spot pigs are keeping cool mud bathing. Tomorrow they will be slaughtered and by Thursday the shoulders will be delivered to three restaurants in Keswick which is about 15 miles over the fell you see behind the pigs @fellpack@fellshack and @theroundkeswick used in various dishes including their excellent pulled pork. A couple of weeks after the loins and belly will be dry cured and sliced as middle bacon and used on @theroundkeswick amazing burgers (we also have supplied their beef patties for the last 2 years)
